The King Dez Network is a ministry of wise counsel that provides Corporate Chaplaincy, Christian Counseling, Coaching/Consulting, & Mentoring for adults, youth, entrepreneurs, & businesses to assist them in achieving their personal, spiritual, & professional goals.
The King Dez Network is facilitated by R. Valdez McJimpsey, who is a board certified Christian counselor and life coach through the National Association of Christian counselors. Mr. McJimpsey has over 23 years of experience in the human service field as a counselor, hospice chaplain, corporate chaplain, case manager, bereavement coordinator, treatment coordinator, legal victim advocate, lead pastor, and director. In addition to his work experience, he has self published two workbooks focused on goal achievement and purpose.

As a human service professional Mr. McJimpsey utilizes both spiritual and practical techniques, as he empathetically holds space and ignites the will of each client. He has a deep passion to see individuals, leaders, and organizations thrive in their sphere of influence and he believes everyone has an untreaded path. Although Mr. McJimpsey is knowledgeable and utilizes the DSM V, he is not qualified or able to make clinical diagnosis or counsel individuals with certain diagnosis. As a board certified Christian counselor, Mr. McJimpsey networks with other counselors, coaches, mental health professionals, and clinicians. The King Dez Network looks forward to assisting you with your journey of achieving your personal, spiritual, and professional goals.

Areas of certification: marriage and family, grief, trauma, attachment disorder in adults with depressive symptoms, life transitions, faith-based issues, youth, divorce recovery, anxiety, depression, and life coaching.

FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR.
Valdez McJimpsey attended Spartanburg Methodist College and graduated from South Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He has done graduate work at Webster University’s School of Counseling and is a board certified Christian counselor and Life Coach with the National association of Christian Counselors.
McJimpsey holds membership with both the American Association of Christian Counselors and the National Association of Christian Counselors.​Apostle McJimpsey is the founder of “Pray Spartanburg’’ (a local prayer movement) in SC, Family Worship Ministries of Spartanburg, City Gate Ministries International, Lions and Eagles mentoring, and the King Dez Network.
The King Dez Network is a goal based, human service agency that provides Christian Counseling, Corporate Chaplaincy, Coaching, Consulting and Mentoring to adults, youth, and entrepreneurs to assist them achieve their personal, spiritual, and professional goals.​Mr. McJimpsey currently operates the King Dez Network and City Gate Ministries International out of Washington DC. He has published two workbooks, (The Mentors Guide to Daily Success) and (Purpose to Prosper).
He is currently working on his third published workbook, entitled, (Everyday Therapy).​ Apostle McJimpsey has a strong passion for families, wise counsel, deliverance, prayer, leadership and the healthy representation of the kingdom of God. He is the proud husband of the honorable Erika L. McJimpsey and they are the parents of three sons.
